HR Philosophy

  • HRM needs a light touch and a small organisational footprint in a modern business.  We all know that the greatest influence on workplace productivity, focus and moral is the immediate manager.  We work to support those people charged with leadership to do their job better.  This is done through coaching, effective lightweight systems and alignment between systems, behaviours, policies and desired outcomes.
  • Productive HR is based on empowerment, matching authority with accountability and giving people the tools needed to succeed.
  • People (including Aboriginal people) are intrinsically capable – it is the task of leaders to direct and focus effort.
  • Training and development needs to be tailored to the current role and immediate potential roles.
  • If you cant measure it in some way its probably not that important

Values

  • Passion for everything that we do
  • Caring for our people is important
  • Everyone has something to offer
  • “Do what you say you will do”
  • Nothing worthwhile is achieved without hard work
